 Post subject: how do i set the width and height of the text area

i've just bought the image uploader addon but now i don't know how to change the width and weight of the text area

The height and width values are created in your database under the "variables" table. The default wisth is 500 and height is 150. You can change those values within your database to make the size of the area bigger. Hope this helps.
