A few days ago I stumbled across
Carbonite which is a remote off-site storage solution that is always on and works silently in the background on your PC well you work.
I installation took less than 5 minutes and automatically backs up everything in your User Account (My Documents, Desktop, IE Favorites, etc.). The initial back up (15 GB in my case) took about 2 days, but now everytime I create or modify a document it seamlessly synchronizes it with my Carbonite account.
The files are all off site on there servers and they are encrypted so only you can see them with your user name and password.
In case disaster strikes, hard drive crash, fire, PC is stolen you can be back up as fast as you can download your files on your new PC. This also makes transferring all of your files to a new PC a snap!!!
The best part is the price, unlimited storage is less than $5 per month! Are you kidding me? That is a cheap insurance policy if your files are important to you! PLUS there is a 14 day free trial.
